Platelet Rich Plasma
Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy uses injections of a concentration of a patient's own platelets to accelerate the healing of injured tendons, ligaments, muscles and joints.
Perineural Injection Therapy
PIT involves the injection of a dextrose solution (typically 5%), with or without an anesthetic agent, into tender points in the subcutaneous tissue along the path of the affected nerve or into the peripheral nerve for management of chronic pain, such as neurogenic pain, carpal tunnel syndrome and low back pain.
Dry Needling
Dry needling is a treatment that healthcare providers use for pain and movement issues associated with myofascial trigger points. With this technique, a provider inserts thin needles into or near your trigger points. The needles stimulate your muscles, which causes them to contract or twitch. This helps relieve pain and improve your range of motion.
Shockwave Therapy
Shockwave therapy is a type of regenerative medicine (also known as an orthobiologic therapy). It is used to treat tendinopathy as well as difficult-to-heal ligament injuries. Some degenerative tendinopathies have an associated buildup of calcium in the tendon. Focused shock waves can break those deposits up.
